Ok. The Bear got another ride in, three 3-mile laps. I’m still in serious pain. Last couple of days it’s been my left leg. Back is pretty ok, for the most part … usually.
Another trip back home, where we’ll spend the night, first time in almost six months! Not bringing the pop-up for halloween, though. We’ll get that tomorrow. Why take a chance?
Another take-stuff-to-the-house day.
Hang out at the trailer day, and get stuff organized to take more back.
Ok, today we go check out the house, see if it’s still standing!
Everything’s fine. Dropped off a bunch of stuff from the trailer. We’ll be doing that all week.
Got new tags for the pop-up, so we can play switcher later in the week.
The Bear did a lap on the 8-mile trail, otherwise, we just hung around packing things up.
The Bear went out and rode with the Kiwis, and they all had a grand time. My wrist and back are killing me, so no rides for me.
Afternoon, got all packed up and moved to CHSP, to stay a few days.
Gonna do a short tandem ride today. The trail is quite twisty, and it was a challenge. Unfortunately, almost ran into a bush, and in stopping, I re-injured my left wrist. Pretty badly. Hurts like hell now. No more bike for me for a while.
Met some really cool folks from New Zealand (they were our RV neighbors), and hope to stay in touch with them. Looks like fun times ahead!
Another short drive, to some good riding. Nice campfire and good friends this day. Love it!
Been a long time since I updated – no internet that I could count on!
Relatively short drive, but again, imagine that!, sucky internet. Such is KoA. For the most part. Amarillo was actually quite good.
Another long drive today. Yuck. Good weather, made good time, so life is good! Back still hurts like hell. Hope that stops soon.
Tomorrow, a bit shorter drive to Wichita Falls.
Feels good to be back in Texas.
